Orange Grove Middle is now officially a Project ADAM safe school!!!
Our middle school first responders took part in a cardiac emergency drill last week with the help of Sissy Stoughton BSN, CPN, RN.
MUSC Children’s Health has partnered with Project ADAM to help increase the awareness of sudden cardiac death and establish emergency programs for timely and lifesaving responses in the school setting.
We are so proud to have this certification and to know we are prepared to keep our students safe.
Sissy has also instructed our students each quarter teaching them CPR during their health classes.
Let’s hear it for our first graders and their amazing teachers for such a memorable Mother’s Day experience. I know they had some momma hearts melting! Enjoy this glimpse of the event!
We could not go a day at The Grove without our amazing teachers and staff. This past week they were lovingly showered with flowers, gifts, tasty treats and words of praise. A huge thank you to all of our thoughtful parents and students, our amazing PTO, and the men of John Wesley UMC. You all spoiled us well!!!! Here are a few photo highlights of the many ways our teachers and staff were served this week along with some special words of thanks from our students.
If you’re looking for a way to get more involved at Orange Grove and for more opportunities to help serve our staff would you consider joining PTO?
