Lily and Jamison represented The Grove well this morning at the Superintendent’s Student Cabinet meeting. They discussed district initiatives alongside student cabinet members from every middle and high school in CCSD. We are so proud of you both!

On a day when we honor the victims and heroes of 9/11, our 8th graders are always fortunate to hear Mrs. Webster share her family’s personal loss from that day. This year was extra special with her Dad, Mr. Gravlee, joining her in sharing how his day unfolded while he was working in Manhattan on the morning of September 11, 2001. Thank you for taking the time to talk with our students, sharing your story, and most importantly, sharing Sandy’s legacy. We will never forget.

We hope your CD and Kindergarten students have a WONDERFUL first day of school! They are sure to meet many friends on day one!

Thank you,
