Today was a powerful reminder that we are truly a family beyond the classroom. Our alumni continue to reach out and want their ACA and church family to be a part of the milestones in their lives. We have been blessed to watch four of our alumni graduate from high school this year: Lucy, Colin, Matthew, and Karissa. Today, Allimah gave her life to Jesus and was baptized.
Seeing Allimah make this profound commitment fills our hearts with joy and gratitude. This is what we are aboutβnurturing not just minds but hearts and spirits in Christ. We thank God for the opportunity to walk alongside these incredible young people on their journey of faith and life.
We are deeply proud of our alumni and grateful for the continued connection and love we share. Congratulations to Lucy, Colin, Matthew, Karissa, and Allimah. Godβs blessings to you all!
ππ What a day! The end-of-year field trip was not just an adventure, but a testament to the incredible spirit of our students. π Amidst all the excitement, they showed immense support and love to their classmate during an unexpected situation. Their kindness and concern remind us why we love being a part of the ACA community. Here's to more memorable adventures and heartwarming moments together!
π 2024 Graduation π
Last night, ACA celebrated a memorable milestone with our 8th grade and kindergarten graduations. We are incredibly proud of our students for their achievements and dedication.
We also held a "Passing the Torch of Leadership" ceremony, symbolizing the transition of leadership to our upcoming 8th graders. This ceremony highlights the importance of service, integrity, and faith.
Congratulations to all our graduates! We pray that God continues to guide and bless you in all your future endeavors.
Join us tonight for our Kindergarten and 8th Grade Graduation Ceremony! Celebrate our students' achievements and the Christ-centered education that has guided them
On the second day of Week of Prayer at Adventist Christian Academy, we were truly blessed by Pastor Sanchez's special message. He shared from John 11, illustrating how Jesus exemplified the ultimate friend and encouraged us to follow His example in our own lives.
Pastor Sanchez engaged our students in a meaningful way, ensuring they were attentive and involved. Every time they heard the word "friend," they responded with a heartfelt "Oh Yeah!" This interaction helped reinforce the importance of being a good friend, just as Jesus was.
Letβs strive to embody the love, kindness, and faithfulness that Jesus showed to His friends. Together, we can create a community of genuine friendship and support.
This final week at ACA Charleston, we're blessed to have Pastor Juan Sanchez leading our Week of Prayer. The theme is 'Following the Footsteps of Jesus.' On Monday, students learned about the power of prayer and its importance in our lives. We look forward to hearing Tuesday's message! π
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.' - Mark 11:24

Happy Mother's Day to all of the mothers in our ACA community and beyond. Today, we celebrate not only your nurturing love but also your profound role as the first teachers in your children's lives. Your guidance in those early years lays the foundation for their growth in shaping their character. Through your teachings, you plant seeds of faith that will blossom into a deep and enduring relationship with God.
Thank you for the invaluable lessons you impart and the love you so generously give. May God bless you abundantly on this special day!
With admiration and gratitude,

"πβ¨ Exciting day at ACA! From yearbook signing to chapel, Pastor LaPorte blessed us with a special message for the Lord's protection this summer. Our 8th graders surprised him by dedicating the yearbook to him. A heartfelt tribute to a cherished leader.
πππΊπΈ Today, our students participated in the National Day of Prayer, coming together to lift up our nation, communities, and loved ones in prayer. πβ¨
With hearts full of hope and reverence, they prayed for their families, churches, and our great nation. They also extended their prayers to our brave service members and those in leadership roles, asking for guidance, wisdom, and protection.
Through the reading of scriptures on the profound power of prayer and the heartfelt melodies of songs, our students embraced the spirit of this special day, fostering a deeper connection with their faith and each other.
Let us continue to stand together in prayer, recognizing that through the power of prayer, we can overcome obstacles and sow seeds of love and compassion in our communities. ππ πΊπΈ

Our mission at Adventist Christian Academy of Charleston is to provide an enriched learning environment through spiritual growth and academic excellence, preparing all students for leadership and a life of Christian service.
In 2003, the thought of having a school bus was only a dream, but God had big plans.
"For I know the plans I have for you, ' declares the Lord, 'plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future," ~Jeremiah 29:11.
The story of what happened next is quite remarkable and by 2006-2007 that dream became a reality. The kindergarten children on the first bus are now 22 years old! Just think of how many lives, students and families, have been touched through the years by having the ability to attend our school. Between work schedules, drive-time and gas prices, transportation is not a luxury but a necessity for many families. What a blessing the bus has been!
Fast-forward over 20 years later and our 14-passenger "Little Bus that Could" was tired. With over 500,000 miles, angels were with us out on the roads! For the safety of our students and those who selflessly drive the bus, it was time for a new one. And boy did God pave the way.
A beautiful new, white bus was purchased prior to the 2023-2024 school year and has been running students back-and-fourth to school safely. Other church and school groups are also able to utilize the bus for various events and evangelism activities. While the bus is in use, we need to still pay back what was borrowed. Donations of any denomination are welcome and so appreciated.
"Just as you excel in everything-- in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete
earnestness and in your love for us-- see that you also excel in this grace of giving."
~ 2 Corinthians 8:7
Thank you!

Thank you, Mount Pisgah Academy's Choir, for an inspiring performance! Your voices lifted our spirits. May your harmony continue to echo the blessings from above!
On Earth Day, our students were incredibly busy and engaged, from learning the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling to constructing a water tower, applying the scientific method to find solutions, and even delving into gardening. Additionally, their project on protecting endangered species and saving the Earth was inspiring and impactful. We are immensely proud of their dedication and will continue to support these meaningful projects. Great job, students!"

Looking for the right school?
For most parents, this past school year was not what they expected. Many ended the year by serving as their childβs teacher in addition to being the parent. For some, this approach was a blessing; but for most, it was a time of anxiety and stress. Area schools tried their best, and many great teachers went out of their way to help children in any way possible; but the fact remains that due to class size and limits of technology, many children had limited contact with their teachers and the extent of their education was a new packet of review material every couple of weeks.
At our school, we faced many of the same challenges; but we were able to adapt well. We were able to provide 3-4 hours of DAILY direct instruction to our students through online class meetings. Our teachers then offered special help sessions for those who were having a difficult time. Yes, we, too, dropped off packets to some of our students. Yes, our parents were still stressed out. Yes, it was not the same as face- to- face classroom instruction, but we taught new material and conducted class the best we could. In other words, we had regular school from a home-based instructional approach. Were we perfect? No, but we are proud of our teachers and what we accomplished during this time.
If you are looking for a school where your child will be connected to their teachers either by attending school with face-to-face instruction, or by being part of our online home-based instruction program for 2020-21, perhaps we are the school for you. We will be ready to adapt and provide a quality education to your child in the fall. Come and join us! Limited availability, so contact us soon.
