Osu, everyone!! We over here at Japan Karate Institute James Island are open for business in our new location!! Our summer camps have begun, and the campers are having a blast!! SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT!!!! We over here at Japan Karate Institute James Island have some exciting news!! We are MOVING!!! Due to the increase in our student numbers, we have solidified our commercial storefront!!! I am overjoyed at this accomplishment as we all could not have done this without the Lord, being our guide and the wonderful support of students and parents!! Osu everyone! We have been busy over here at Japan Karate Institute James Island! With our test coming up on the 22nd, all students have been training on level 10 to prepare! However, we have also been growing and wanted to introduce our newest dojo family members! This entire week I was trying to prepare what I would say about such an important day for us over here at JKIJI. As I contemplated, I laughed, I cried, and simply entered a mindset of bliss thinking how blessed we are. There are so many things I can say about these past 7 years of us being in existence. Each picture or pictures is from each year that we have been in existence and they carry sooo many blessings in each students face. I thank The Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for giving me the strength to endure through what some would say are impossible odds. We have prevailed through Him. I want to thank Shihan Dale Coker, Sensei David Mitchell, and Sensei Todd Carol for being pioneers of JKI. I want especially thank Sempai Carlin Dooley (Assistant Head Instructor) and Sempai Jennifer Fiorini for your love and support throughout the years. You have been there when no one else was and have ALWAYS been in my corner. We would not be here if it had not been for your words of encouragement when trials were hitting at all angles.
