Osu everyone!!! Our Unity Day Cookout was a huge success!!! Thank you all of the dojo family members who came out this weekend!! We know that their were some that also wanted to come, however we also know that circumstances did not permit you and you were there in spirit! We teach Wado Ryu Karate, however our purpose is not just teaching Karate, but developing long lasting friendships and bonds that are unbreakable. We train together, sweet together, and succeed together!! I look forward to our next Unity Day event which will be coming up soon! Please stay tuned!

Osu everyone!!! What a day, what a day!!! Congratulations to all who tested today at Japan Karate Institute James Island!! You all did an amazing job!! It is so rewarding to see the growth in all ranks and all programs! We had some HUGE milestones today also!! Congratulations to all of our students who advanced to their next level of advancement! We want to send a special Congratulations to our newly ranked blues belts, our newly ranked brown belts, and our newly ranked red belts!!! These are pivotal stages in a student's training!!! You all ROCKED that test and to see that we also had 100% pass rating on ALL tests makes a Sensei so proud!!! Congratulations again students of Japan Karate Institute James Island!!!

We are soo thrilled about the summer and what we have in store for our future campers!!! If you or anyone you know has a child that is interested please ensure you reach out to us ASAP!! Osu everyone!! Congratulations to all students who conducted their belt examination this weekend!! You guys ROCKED that test!! There were soo many pictures of all of our wonderful students that we could not put them all in, however a Sensei could not be more proud of each and everyone one of you!! We had some milestones also this testing cycle from students advancing from beginner's to advanced, from blue belts to brown belts, and brown belt to red belt!!! We are so blessed to see these wonderful accomplishments because this ensures that we are not only increasing in our number, but also our retention ratings are off the charts! We know that we are growing in our dojo family when one of our test was JUST white belts, and their student numbers rivaled all of the other test! Congratulations again to all and I look forward to everyone's continued success!!!

Osu everyone!! Our pre-test examinations were a great success!! We are beyond proud of all students who showed up and showed out!! You guys ROCKED that pre-test! There is no doubt that you all will do well on the belt test examination on February 28th!! We also was to congratulate one of our new after school students Laylah Bailey, who also received her white belt today as well!! You not only received your white belt, but has been doing so well that you will be testing on the 28th! Congratulations to all and we look forward to everyone's continued success!!

We are so pleased that our family continues to grow!! Not only just our dojo family, but also families who are training together!
