Quietly prepare
for your own arrival.

When you wake,
inhale warm rainbow light
and empty the inner trash
with your exhalation.

Lovingly sweep the floor
of your heart
and place a cushion
in front of the altar
next to your pulse.

Bow your head,
and make a simple offering
of love.

Beckon, in a quiet moment,
the deep inner whisperer
that knows
why you are here,
and what you have come for.

And then listen.

I beg you to listen.

Resonating words from my inbox this morning (

When you hear the word “edge”, what do you notice in yourself?

⛰️Is it a moment of sharpening attention?

⛰️A place where sensation becomes clearer?

⛰️Or a subtle invitation to slow down and choose more carefully? [✨discernment✨]

The edge is not a place to push towards.
It’s a place to arrive at gently, with awareness — where the body begins to speak more clearly.

When approached this way, the edge becomes a place of learning - not because it’s uncomfortable, but because it’s alive.

The Phoenix Rising School of Yoga Therapy teaches a physical edge in the body as a way to explore how we meet our edges in life - moments when something asks for our attention, presence, or response. Working with sensation gives us a tangible, choice-based way to stay engaged without overwhelm.

 Some practices:

▫️Meeting discomfort gradually and sitting with choices supports staying in direct experience

▫️Recognizing and staying with an edge - both in the body and in life - without pushing or forcing

▫️Noticing how our state of being can shift when remaining present at an edge, allowing for clearer and more skillful action

What often becomes clear is that the work isn’t about intensity, but listening.

Does this resonate?

If yes, think about the next steps to explore your edge and discover the wisdom that lies just beyond it.

I’m right there with you.

Peaceful Warrior

A yoga class that blends breath work, slow flow, deep stretch, and restorative yoga while giving participants the space to ground into the present moment, create full body awareness, and rest. A great place to invite balance into our lives, begin, or begin again - no yoga experience necessary.

This style of yoga has been proven to regulate the central nervous system, decrease chronic pain, stress, and anxiety while increasing physical and mental flexibility.

Peaceful Warrior is a donation-based class that is open to everyone and caters to Active Duty Military, Veterans, and First Responders.

A portion of the proceeds from each class will go to an organization that supports the men and women who serve or have served our country.

Hey! I’m Sarah 👋☺️

After almost 19 years in Charleston, SC, I’m new to the Bozeman, MT scene and beyond stoked to be teaching at on Main St!!

Here, I’ll be leading a few classes a week as well as a monthly class for Veterans & First Responders (in-person & virtual), various workshops, and special event classes. 🙌🙌

With the fundamentals, breath, and what feels good in the body at the foundation of my teaching, I enjoy leading everything from upbeat and flowy vinyasa to grounding and restorative yin. My guidance and wisdom is rooted in a variety of yoga lineages and styles including Baptiste Power Vinyasa, yoga therapy, yin, all things , and Primal Flow.

I am also a Certified Yoga Teacher. While the physical benefits of yoga are great, I deeply value yogic philosophy and sharing this life-long practice as a modality for healing.

With plans to eventually head to Southern Utah and Central America this winter, Bozeman is home to me and my pup … for now.

Hope to meet/see you soon!
