In June, the MPA Program hosted the second installment of our Summer Diversity Enrichment Academy! Participants had the opportunity to meet and converse with leaders from across the Charleston and Columbia regions with visits to the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce, the City of Columbia, and the Coastal Community Foundation.
SDEA students met for lunch with numerous alumni and current students in the MPA Program as well as engaged in deep conversation with two South Carolina lobbyists, Anna Burger and Erica Wright, and Race Equity Assessment Coordinator for the Building Movement Project, Camryn Snell.
We are beyond thankful to all of our sponsors, speakers & presenters, alumni, current students, and hard working public servants that took the time to make this three day Academy a success!
