"Capital High School's robotics team finished as runner ups in the state. We hold ourselves to a high standard and continuously work to bring Capital a state championship. Pictured is Aiden Miles and Kevin Chen. They have a team that runs deep. Johnny Chen, Joseph Clericuzio, Tristan Stiltner and honorary coach, Ellis Bowser, who is still mentoring at tournaments. We were able to spend club time this week making some thank you cards for our Veterans!

Last weekend was full of NHS events! We pulled a 14 hour day Saturday. Starting at the Walk to End Alzheimer’s! We ran the Photo Booth, the memorial garden and even found time to walk as a group. Then some of our members were able to go help Ruffner Elementary with their Fall Festival. We ended up the day by organizing, decorating and running the Haunted Trail at the Kanawha State Forest Trunk or Treat! What an awesome day spending time in our Charleston, WV community for some great causes!

This September, Capital High School Football proudly stand in solidarity with Su***de Prevention Month. Mental health matters, and we are committed to raising awareness and offering support to those who are struggling.

As part of our “Cap High By 40” mentality, we know that winning in life means overcoming every obstacle, and that includes fighting for mental health. Just as we strive to dominate the field, we also aim to ensure that no one in our community faces their battles alone. Whether it's a friend, family member, or classmate, let's be there for each other and help break the stigma around mental health issues.

Together, we can make a difference by spreading kindness, checking in on each other, and knowing the signs of someone who may need help. If you or someone you know is struggling, don't hesitate to reach out – resources and support are available.

At Capital High School, we believe every life is worth fighting for, and just like on the field, we’re committed to winning this fight by 40.
