Summer may be a little quieter around here, but we’re still sharpening our etiquette skills… one page at a time! 📚🍟

While our classes are on summer break, we’re busy with our summer reading and staying up to date on all things French Fries & Thank You. After all, good manners are always in season!

We’re already looking forward to welcoming everyone back this fall. From little learners to middle schoolers, we have classes and workshops planned all season long.

✨ Mrs. Sumner Says… ✨

Ever find yourself at a formal dinner wondering which fork to use? Mrs. Beverly Sumner, co-founder and matriarch of Lowcountry Etiquette, has a simple rule you’ll never forget:

🍴 Start from the outside and work your way in.
Whether you’re dining with friends or the Queen of England, the utensils are placed in the order you’ll use them. One little etiquette tip can make any fancy meal feel a lot less intimidating!

Follow along for more timeless manners and modern etiquette!

Meet our newest manners mascot, Cosmo! 🐾💛

He’s mastered the art of greeting guests, believes everyone deserves a warm welcome, and always remembers to say “please”… especially when French fries are involved. 🍟😉

Mrs. Grayson LeVeen’s favorite game? 🎡✨ Wheel of Manners!

There’s nothing better than watching children light up as they share what they’ve learned—answering questions, cheering each other on, and growing in confidence with every spin.

Because while they’re playing manners trivia, they’re also learning something even more important… sportsmanship. 👏

Celebrating others, taking turns, and showing respect—on and off the wheel.

It’s how we make manners fun. 💫

Introducing the Middle School Supper Club—a fun and meaningful experience designed just for middle schoolers to build confidence, independence, and real-world etiquette skills.

Students will practice dining out with their peers in a supportive, guided environment—learning to put phones away, engage in conversation, and strengthen both classic table manners and modern etiquette (like navigating the bill and tipping with confidence).

The evening begins with a brief etiquette refresher, followed by icebreakers and conversation games to help everyone feel comfortable and connected. Then, students will enjoy their meal together while putting their skills into practice.

Our first Supper Club will be held , with limited seating to keep the experience intentional and interactive.

Spots are limited—reserve yours soon using the link in our bio!

The very best manners lesson? Helping others shine. ✨

At Lowcountry Etiquette, we teach children that manners begin with respect for others—and that true confidence means lifting those around you.

It can be as simple as:
• inviting someone into the conversation
• making room at the table
• offering a kind word or introduction
• noticing when someone feels left out

These small acts make a big impact. 💙

We love showing children what they’re capable of—building confidence, kindness, and the kind of character that makes everyone feel welcome.
