Turan Rush, joined by Jamie Buckland Director of the West Virginia FUE (Families United for Education), held an information session this week to discuss details of the Charleston Leadership Academy with interested parents and community members. The school is set to open in Fall 2024 and future sessions will be held for those who were unable to attend.

Big things are happening at Charleston Leadership Academy (CLA). Founder, Turan Rush, and Reverend Dr. Jeff Biddle met with former NFL quarterback and founder of the Best of the Batch Foundation, Charlie Batch, today in Pittsburgh to discuss ways that they can work together to launch CLA.

Hi Charleston. Thanks for joining our page! Charleston Leadership Academy (CLA) is preparing to set sail in the fall of 2024. We believe there’s nothing more unstoppable than when people come together. We want to create a local community of diverse individuals who will support, challenge, inspire, and collaborate with each other to help this school become a reality.

We encourage you to share your knowledge, ask questions, and participate in events and discussions to help create awareness of CLA and establish it as THE premier private school in the city. Together we can make this happen. Stay tuned for our mascot and logo reveal, and check back periodically to learn more about school plans, curriculum, athletics and more!
