Our garden update is COMPLETE! Our Options students have been working all semester to give our garden a much needed makeover! We are all so excited to work in this beautiful garden as we grow food for our classroom!
Thank you Mr. Fischer for being an incredible friend to our students and for providing us the means to redo this space!
One of our favorite days of the year! We had a blast at the Bocce Bash!
Our students have been practicing all week for the Special Olympics South Carolina Bocce Bash this weekend! We are so excited to represent with two teams of students this year!
We partnered with the freshman board to put on a car wash yesterday. It was a huge success! All of the students worked hard and had so much fun! Thank you to everyone who came to support!
Alexander the Great Battling Bishop got a special Easter carrot from Joe last week!
Big garden day yesterday! Special thanks to Artisan Landscapes for not only bringing us dirt for our new beds but for taking extra time to let our students be a part of the filling process! They all had so much fun and were so proud of the work they did!

Some of our Life Skills students made presentations on the life cycle of a bean. Today, they were able to present them to our Personal Finance class. They learn so much working out in our garden!
Last Friday some of our students attended Night to Shine. They had so much fun!! Thank You to the and for hosting such a fun night ā¤ļø

Harper completed a project about the Multiple Intelligences for his psychology class! He gave his classmates a questionnaire about their learning styles and used the data to determine their top intelligences. Before sharing the results, he presented a PowerPoint about the Multiple Intelligences.
Today, our Unified PE basketball team, along with this semesters scholars, traveled to James Island Charter High to play in our annual JI vs BE basketball game!
We may have lost this year but we are so proud of how well both teams played! It was a great competition and we canāt wait for the next one!
As part of our Family Heritage project our students painted a tribute to their family members who served in the military and fought for our freedom.
We want to honor and thank all veterans on this Veterans Day!

Our class welcomed our new pet, Alexander Hermann the Hermann Tortoise, to the room this afternoon! Everyone is so excited to have a new pet to care for!

The annual Lowcountry Buddy Walk last weekend was a huge success! We had a great group of students, faculty, and families out to support! We had a number of students volunteering at the bounce houses and face painting stations throughout the day. We loved being able to connect with students from past years and getting to see our current student, Morgan, perform with her dancing group! We canāt wait for next year!

Our club activities officially started last night at our first club tailgate! Everyone went all out in their pink and loved connecting with their classmates! We canāt wait for more activities this semester! Itās going to be a great year!
