1D had a blast today! They found footprints, gold dust, coins, and shamrocks- all evidence that a sneaky leprechaun has visited the school. Students danced an Irish jig and celebrated with shamrock pie and lime and orange floats!
The leprechaun made his rounds today at Ashley River and he is still on the loose. He left a trail of glitter, gold, and happiness!

Congratulations to our 4th Grade teachers and students on a very successful My Furry Valentine fundraiser! 🐶🐱❤️ The total amount of funds raised was $552.90 and the amount of supplies donated was simply amazing. Kindergarten and First grade students are having fun making puppets and using them with Ms. Waldron's 3 mini recycled cardboard box puppet theaters in STEAM class. Our kindergarteners are making storybook characters and first grade students are making Underground Railroad themed ones bringing history to life.
Ashley River celebrated Read Across America Day with a Kindergarten parade, an author visit from the JustaChicken team (Preston Thorne and Langston Moore), and guest readers for every classroom!
