Monday: The November Spotlight video is officially up! Check your Lexis Homepage and watch the Spotlight Video, take a short quiz, and earn 200 points!

Tuesday: It's Canned Immunity Week!!!! Be sure to bring an extra can to the "Table Tip" for this week in the Barrister from noon to 1pm!! Each can you bring will be an additional entry into the End-of-the-Year raffle giveaway! Plus, you get to learn a cool Lexis tip! All cans will be donated to the Food Service Drive Project that the CSOL participates in each year!

Also, an email has been sent to each student in the event that you have missed a "Table Tip!" Please be sure to complete those by the deadline stated in the email!

Everyone, meet Tameika! Tameika is from Mount Vernon, Ga. Before attending CSOL, Tameika attended Columbus State University in Columbus, Georgia and earned a B.S. in Sociology. Tameika is a 3L and will be graduating in December 2018. At CSOL, Tameika is a member of Women in Law, FBA, LLSA, and Phi Alpha Delta. In addition to serving as a Lexis Rep, Tameika also serves as the Secretary of BLSA and on the Community Service Committee of the Student Bar Association. After graduation, Tameika plans to pursue a career in criminal defense and public interest law.

Tameika is always on campus, so if there is anything you need help with, don't hesitate to ask her!

CSOL Students!!

We have a lot of important things happening this week with Lexis, but the most important thing is that Lexis is HIRING new Lexis Associates for the Spring semester!

If you are interested in becoming a Lexis Associate, please email me, Laura Glover ([email protected]), your resume and a short informal cover letter explaining why you would be a good Lexis Associate.

Deadline for submitting resumes is Monday, November 5th. Limited to 2Ls and 3Ls.

Everyone, Meet Lexis Student Rep, James! James is one of five children and was raised in the Upstate of South Carolina. James is a huge Kentucky Wildcats fan and hopes to practice Criminal law upon graduation in May 2019.

Meet Jessica! Jessica is currently a 3L, graduating in May 2019. Jessica is interested in pursuing a legal career in Environmental Law and Policy.

Jessica has worked with Lexis last year as a Lexis Student Representative and discovered that she enjoyed the research aspect associated with legal writing.

Jessica is the Vice President of the Environmental Law Society, a Student Ambassador, and an Articles Editor for the Charleston Law Review.

Jessica is originally from Michigan and went to Michigan State for my undergraduate degree.

Fun Fact about Jessica: In her free time, Jessica enjoy petting dogs!
