Many of these people and children are overlooked because they live in poverty. And if they want to survive, streets are often their only option, opening them up to exploitation and abuse. Girls are r***d at a tender age and suffer the consequences of premarital s*x. Years back, youthful girls who used to get pregnant were thrown on cliffs, waterfalls or left at the smallest island in lake Bunyonyi. Today there's modern punishment where girls are chased out of home to go streets with their children for survival. Eventually children produced by them are abandoned or killed at birth and dumped in toilets or on Streets.

Batwa/ Pygmies belongs to a people group in South western Uganda who are targeted by local people for hard labour with little or not pay because they cannot read or write.

In pictures are some of the children rescued from streets or abandoned, most of them are grateful to be free but the school struggles to provide for the children with all the necessities. There are others who lived a very hard life,” she says.

To build a new life, children need an opportunity to eat food, education education, spiritual growth, and save for a secure future.Dear  Friends, would you consider sponsoring a child $50/per month.

you had to pay for an emergency need, where or who would you turn to?

Many of these people are overlooked because they live in poverty. And if they want to start a business or access emergency cash, loan sharks are often their only option, opening them up to exploitation and abuse.

When she was rescued from human trafficking, Maya was grateful to be free but struggled to provide for her two children. Fear and sadness plagued her days. “I lived a very hard life,” she says.
To build a new life, they need an opportunity to earn an income and save for a secure future
