Gag Grouper in Charleston?! 🔥

Often times during the Late Summer, folks will be shocked to report catching Gag groupers inshore here in Charleston, SC

Which if you didn’t know Gag Groupers are typically found Offshore and can grow up to 50 lbs or 3 ft🙌🏻

But these beautiful fish actually start their lives after spawning right here among inshore estuaries and marshes like our perfect ones here in the Lowcountry 🌴

Until a few months of age where they then head Offshore!

So the next time you catch one inshore or offshore, think of this incredible journey they fish make as they Grow 💪

Man oh man, Miami 🌴🔥

South Florida is a special place… the culture, the food, the botanical life and CRAZY wildlife that makes itself home in this Hot and humid climate. ☀️ 🌿🦜

And it’s a place I feel everyone should explore at least once!! 🦎

I got the privilege to visit for the first time this past weekend and bring fishing to kids down in Miami with Anglers For Conservation 😁 🎣

And once the kiddos got their fish catching in, my good friend Alisa Marie Kintz and I hit the canals searching for some Peacock Bass! 🦚

Thanks to the freshest shiners I’ve ever seen from JD Outdoor Adventures We found a few to get Alisa her first one!! 🔥🙌🏻

And with putting in close to 1,300 miles in 3 days for this trip, there’s so much I still want to explore in Miami but it was worth every second and I’m already planning my next Trip! 🌴🦜❤️
