8th graders visited Arlington National Cemetery this morning and witnessed the changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Our class had the honor of laying a wreath at the Kennedy gravesite and Eternal Flame.
It's a bit rainy in D.C., but the cherry blossoms are beautiful and everyone is having a great time!

Two 8th grade students were interviewed by the 3rd grade class regarding phones. These 8th graders were not provided a phone until the end of 8th grade, and the 3rd graders asked questions related to the pros and cons of this decision. Says Ms. Rennison, "The 3rd grade classes learned so much, and our 8th graders were and are amazing examples of what delaying access to phones can support: amazing, talented, and happy teenagers."
