Last night's summer series 2 race 6 was outstanding. Weather that looked foreboding cleared to give us a beautiful evening for a sail with the terrific crew of Kieran and Claire. The speedsters from other fleets joined the fleet and took the top spots... 71 vs our 224 phrf rating is a bit absurd... nevertheless we got a 6th place for last night and third for the 6 race series... a great way to spend the last 12 Wednesday evenings for sure... so what will we do till next race?

Race 5 of summer series 2 is in the books and what a great night it was. Thanks to my crew, Claire, kieran and Bryan for bring us to a solid position... but 13 seconds kept us out of 3rd for tonight.. at this point we're holding 3rd for the series with one race to go...

What a beautiful evening with big winds and close competition. Fouth place tonight missing 3rd by a bit over a minute... so far for we have 3rd overall for Summer series 2. Thanks to Bryan and Claire for a great race

It turned out to be a beautiful night for a race. At 5pm it didn't look likely race 2 of SS2 would materialize with local lightning but it did. Thanks to my crew of Bryan, Kieran and Claire with our special guest of Mike Palazzo we did well finishing just 1:15 behind 3rd ... great fun for sure

What a beautiful way to spend the evening with Amy Lamparello and Shana Lamparello . We had perfect conditions and even cool breezes considering.

Summer series 2 is off to a great start with a terrific crew for race 1. We had a beautiful night in the non spin fleet and finished only 58 seconds behind the second place finisher. While that wasn't sufficient to podium we had a great sail nevertheless. The next race is on the otherside of the 4th. Have a terrific holiday!

Summer series race 5 is in the books... what a beautiful night. Started out with a practice run of the big chute that was quite the event. Once we got that under control and avoided a ginormous barge that was in our best course we got up to 11.5 knots over ground into the outgoing tide... quite the sleigh ride ... no pictures of this as all we could do was hang on... not to be out done we captured a couple of our competitors sh*****ng as they went to deploy their chutes for the final leg.
Let's see if any one post us almost broaching...

Race 4 of the summer series is in the books. We moved up one in the over all ranking... And what a beautiful night it was with a terrific crew!

Second race of the summer series. Great evening but a sad eve nevertheless as Ashlyn who has seen 4 summer series aboard is departing with Palmer for Grermany. We'll miss you.
