Second race of the summer series. Great evening but a sad eve nevertheless as Ashlyn who has seen 4 summer series aboard is departing with Palmer for Grermany. We'll miss you.

What a terrific evening for a race! Charleston Ocean Racing Association (CORA) summer series has begun with race 1 in the books. And the after party at The Charleston Yacht Club was crazy. Never seen that many folks in the burgee bar. The staff did an outstanding job serving that many folks!

The bane of any boat owner... the haul out... may it be quick and easy... in 45 years it never has been easy, some less a hassel than others ... the price we pay!

Did the start to CORA''s Spring ocean race solo. Retired as we approached R2. Figured if I continued I'd be pushing it... nevertheless a beautiful sail.

Great day on the water with terrific crew of Ashlyn, Regan, and Hunter. Was blowing 12 to 14 with gust near 20... no photos but our route to R2 was terrific
