“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven". Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 We had several occasions for giant group hugs this week. Group hugs and running hugs were a thing this year. As you know, Pastor Duane has reached a well deserved milestone. His retirement. He brought so much joy and light to the children during chapel time, as Omar Bellybutton. I can hear the giggles now. The children loved singing songs with him and being silly. He always got them wound up and loving Jesus. The kids made a flower pot with the design out of their fingerprints. They will take this on their next adventure. He and Teresa will be greatly missed. Ms. Carmen made it back just in time for the end of year festivities. The kids were so surprised and happy to see her. She was happy too! We are so grateful to have her back with us. Ms. Debbie is also heading off on a new adventure and the kids made her a giant music note out of their fingerprints and staff prints. We might still be a little in denial. We all know that life moves quickly and takes us in many different directions. It’s all God’s plan, we are just along for the ride. We will miss Pastor, Teresa and Ms. Debbie, but we know they will be with us in spirit and will stop in to visit when they can. We are so fortunate to have so many loving children and staff members. God’s love truly is all around us. ❤️🙏🏻
