Art in Nature Workshop Series
The Firehouse Gallery will host a series of instructional workshops attendees to celebrate the
beauty of nature through art. The workshops’ theme look at balancing art with environmental
sustainability as well as the intersection of art and the environment.
The workshops are open to all students, including those who are home-schooled or are not
currently enrolled in a scholastic program. Classes are also open to all, regardless of age.
Instruction is given by practicing artists and art educators.
These classes are made possible by a grant from the Eastern West Virginia Community
Foundation (EWCF) Preissler Fund for the Arts, Music, Design and Nature.

Youth Botanical Collage Workshop – Lucia Valentine, (Dates and time to be announced.)
Fee: $35 per attendee; materials will be provided at no additional cost.
