We have a few spots left for our fall/winter/spring sessions of New Moons Farm and Forest Friends. This offering serves children ages 1-4 with a caregiver. Siblings under 1 are free. We meet Mondays 9:30-11:30 to explore the gardens, meadows, and forests together. Circle time with songs and stories, nature-themed activities, and beautiful outdoor classroom stations provide endless possibilities for play, learning, and discovery. Another magical morning in the field and forest with our New Moons community! We foraged, created, discovered, sang songs, and swung under the canopy of trees together! We have one more Family Fun Day on August 17th. We are very full, so please reach out to register if you plan to attend! We a have a few spots left for our fall programming, too! 💚

Our July Summer Camp was so much fun! We were gifted with stunning animal visitors and the opportunity to create art from the abundant summer wildflowers. In the garden we sampled carrots, snap peas, and rainbow chard! 🌈 We collected blackberries along the edges of the field, explored and fished the creeks, scrambled up steep slopes, and processed wool to make yarn. 🐑 Children played games, experimented with dandelions, observed monarch caterpillars, learned how to flip in hammocks, and had bake-offs in the mud kitchen! 🧁 What a blast! 😀☀️💚

Our first New Moons Farm and Forest Friends offering was so sweet! Families came together to spend a couple of hours in the forest together. We began our morning by harvesting three different kinds of mint to make tea. We followed a marigold flower path to the outdoor classroom where we whipped up feasts in the mud kitchen, made discoveries in the creek, swung in hammocks, climbed and crafted together. We gathered in a circle to sing songs and talk about different animals. We explored the textures of wool from sheep that graze on the land and sampled snap peas and carrots from the gardens.

We have two more Family Fun Days this summer for children 1-4 with a caregiver. All family members are welcome at these Family Fun Days! Reach out to us at [email protected]
