Congratulation to Langdon Elliott who represented CHS at the National Trap Shooting Championship at Mason, Michigan. He finished 136th and there were over 1700 participants! Langdon hit 94 and then in the finals 97 clays out of 100. Wow!
Congratulations to Emma Frieze who placed 4th in Job Interview at the National FBLA contest! It is the highest place any Chapman FBLA student has ever achieved at the national level! Congratulations Emma and the Chapman FBLA!
The CHS and CMS Clay Trap Shooting team competed at the State Tournament in Wichita on Saturday, June 15th. Over 1800 students participated out of the 74 schools. Chapman competed in the 1A division and posted some of their best scores of the season individually. Results out of 100 targets:

Today, Chapman High School will host graduation for the Class of 2019 at the District Gym. The ceremony begins at 2:30. It will be live streamed for those unable to attend.

Great Season for the Forensics team who took 3 students to State Champs and 5 students to State Festival. Senior Madeline Elliott has qualified for State Champs all four years. Naliya Contreras came home with two 1st place ratings and Rylee Lott with a Gold Medal.

Wednesday: We leave for the High Honor Roll Trip at 7:30am on the Northside of the HS and return for buses at 3:28pm. Food is provided for free at Kansas City Powerplay's buffet. A card will be provided to you with 2 main activities and points for games. You can bring extra money to add on.
Thursday: The 3 Sport Athlete Recognition and food will start at the high school commons at 6:30pm.
Friday Sports: Varsity and JV Track NCKL at Clay Center 3pm
Tonight we are hosting our annual FFA BBQ, CHS CTE Showcase and Class Night.
The FFA BBQ will run from 4:30 to 7:30 in front of CHS. Tickets at the door are $10. You receive a 1/2 Chicken, baked beans, chips, pickle, homemade roll, ice cream, and bottled water
CTE Showcase will take place in the shop and commons area of CHS. Mr. Wendel's classes will showcase their projects in the shop. Ms. DeArmond's Irish Ink students will have their portfolios and projects on display. Mr. Weller will be displaying IrishFABrication. Mrs. Anderes will be having plant sales from after school until 7:00pm.
Finally, stay for the Class of 2019 "Lights Camera Class Night." It begins at 8:00 pm in the CHS Auditorium. Tickets are $5 at the door.
We have great things going on at CHS and hope to see the community this evening.
