A huge THANK YOU to everyone who took advantage of the CIS Spirit Boat this year!

What started as a fun way to celebrate our students also turned into a meaningful fundraiser for our school. Because of your support, we raised over $1,700 that went right back into CIS to help support Field Day, Friendship Jam, and Student Council activities.

We’re looking for volunteers to create fun and encouraging bus loop signs for the last days of school! It’s simple:

🎨 Create your sign at home
📍 Drop it off at CIS
📅 By Wednesday, May 20

Signs can include summer wishes, encouraging messages, fun colors, school spirit, or anything that will make our students smile as they head into summer break!

What do you want to be when you grow up?

On Friday, May 15, CIS students will have the opportunity to explore that question during Career Day, coordinated by our amazing CIS school counselors!

We are thankful for the parents and guardians who are taking time out of their busy schedules to share their careers, experiences, and talents with CIS students.

PTO will be providing bags of goodies for all of our Career Day presenters as a small token of appreciation for investing in CIS students and helping them dream big! 💙

Today’s Garden Party Lunch was the perfect midday treat for our amazing teachers and staff as we continue celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week at Chapin Intermediate School! 🌸🌿🍽️

We loved getting to spoil CIS teacher and staff with a relaxing lunch, sweet touches, and delicious treats from Something Sweet by Erica G. McCants

Today may have been a testing day, but we still wanted to make sure our amazing teachers and staff felt appreciated!

Since time was tight, we kept it simple with a quick grab-and-go station filled with snacks and drinks to help everyone rehydrate, refuel, and keep going strong throughout the day.

We also had a fun strawberry raffle! Congratulations to our winners, Mr. Corn and Mrs. St. Germain!

A small gesture for a BIG group of people who show up every day and give their all to our students, especially during busy testing days!

Today we treated our incredible CIS staff to delicious baked goods from Sweet Home Carolina! A small way to show our appreciation for the BIG difference they make every day.
