Our SkillsUSA chapter's Women Helping Women (WHW) group delivered a ton of donated materials to Sistercare on May 12, 2026. Madelyn McCarthy and Riley Thomson founded WHW and helped coordinate two separate drives to benefit Sistercare this year. They also spoke to many classes to educate them about what Sistercare has to offer our community. Great job on all the hard work and service to our community!

Congratulations to Mr. Watts’ Automotive Technology 3 & 4 students! We are proud to announce that every student successfully passed all 9 areas of the ASE certification tests, earning the prestigious ASE Master Student Certification. This outstanding achievement reflects their hard work, dedication, technical skill, and commitment to excellence in automotive technology. We celebrate each student for reaching this important milestone and commend Mr. Watts for his leadership and instruction in preparing the next generation of automotive professionals.

Congratulations to Ms. Kylie Cathcart on being selected as a National Teacher Ambassador for the National FFA Organization! This prestigious honor recognizes her outstanding dedication to agricultural education, student leadership, and the future of the agriculture industry. Her passion for teaching and commitment to empowering students make her a tremendous representative for our school and community. We are incredibly proud of Ms. Cathcart and excited to see the impact she will make in this national role!

Seniors from the Center for Advanced Technical Studies attended the High School to Hired event at Segra Park sponsored by MEBA. Students had the opportunity to connect with local businesses, explore career pathways, and learn about employment opportunities available after graduation. The event provided valuable networking experiences and helped students build connections with industry professionals as they prepare for their future careers.
