Alpha Chi Omega is an organization of women that takes great pride in our leadership abilities, academic excellence, philanthropic work, and connection to each other and our campus. Our national philanthropy is domestic violence awareness, and locally we support that cause with our work at The Compass Center in Chapel Hill.

Emily Grace and Sara Mac are both juniors in AXO. Sara Mac is double majoring in Advertising and Public Relations along with Political Science. Emily Grace is double majoring in Psychology and Exercise and Sports Science.
They studied abroad together in Innsbrook, Austria for 6 weeks. They studied psychology, Political Science, History, and Art. Along with their studies they traveled to 6 different countries on the weekends including Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, and Czech Republic.
It was so fun to follow along with their travels and we are so excited to have them back at AXO and in Chapel Hill.

Meet Abbey Shanahan! Abbey is a sophomore from Raleigh, NC and when asked why Alpha Chi she said:
“During rush, I was really confused and didn’t really know what I wanted from a sorority. When I went to Alpha Chi during recruitment I felt at home, listened to and loved on. During preference round I knew this would be a place where I could be myself, but what I didn’t realize was how much I could love the people in AXO. I’ve met my best friends and met people who are intelligent, kind, hilarious and simply amazing. Regardless of who you are, AXO has your people in it who will love you endlessly.” 🌞
