Thank you to everyone who came out to support our annual philanthropy event, Kappasta! We raised money to support the our philanthropies, National Alliance on Mental Illness and the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation. “I knew Kappa was my home when my big prefed me as a first-year. I was new to Carolina and scared, and she set me at ease immediately. What mattered to me mattered to her. I soon realized that was true of every sister in kappa, and continues to be true even as I get ready to graduate in May. I went Kappa for the community of girls with such a fierce loyalty for each other but a genuine willingness to open the circle and welcome anybody! These women celebrate with you, cry with you, laugh with you, and want nothing but you.”

Checking in with our sister, Vedika, who recently attended admitted students day at Columbia! 📚

“This past weekend, I traveled to New York City to attend Columbia Mailman School of Public Health’s admitted students day! I had such an amazing time learning more about the Master of Public Health program, touring campus, and meeting other students and faculty members that are just as passionate about public health as me! Attending Columbia to pursue my Master’s Degree is a dream come true, and I am so excited to see what post-grad life in the big apple has in store for me!”
