Alpha Alpha Chapter of STTI has a busy fall event calendar and ways for you to connect with members at our annual meeting, meet new SON students at the White Coat Ceremony, volunteer at Project Connect for the Homeless in Orange County and view a meaningful movie screening of "Defining Hope" with an option for continuing education.

Thursday, October 26, 2017 5:30 PM-7:30 PM Our Annual Alpha Alpha STTI Meeting and Celebration of our Key Chapter Awards and Hall of Fame STTI Nurse Researchers. Come and network with your members and friends and meet or hear about our STTI Research Hall of Famers – (Drs.) Dean Nilda (Nena) Peragallo Montano , Donna Havens, Ruth Anderson, Margarete J. Sandelowski, and Merle Mishel. This will be at the UNC School of Nursing, Carrington Hall room 104. Parking is free in the Bell Tower Deck after 5pm. Wednesday, November 1st at 7pm. Join us for a movie and opportunity for nursing Continuing Education. The movie screening of DEFINING HOPE will be at the Timberlyne 6 Theater,201 S Estes Dr Ste 100. The Alpha Alpha chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International invites you to a screening of the healthcare documentary Escape Fire on Thursday evening, Nov. 19th in the Fox Auditorium of UNC-Chapel Hill’s School of Nursing. Doors will open at 5:30 pm for heavy hors d’oeuvres and refreshments followed by the documentary beginning at 6 pm. The documentary is 99 minutes long and after a brief break, we will follow with an opportunity for the audience to engage in discussion with a panel of nurse leaders. The event will end at 8:30 pm.
As seating is limited to 150, please RSVP by November 13th to Priscilla Stephens at [email protected].

Options for admission include: Toiletry items, such as soap or shampoo; canned goods (2); or $5, all of which will be donated to local charity.
