Hello Everyone, This video is a couple of years old but it has a great message on how we need to think about our planning process. I have seen it a couple of times before but thought it good enough to post again.

This is a video I watched while training for my Wildland Fire Cert. I felt like it had a great message and believe every company officer should watch.

Hello Everyone. Just wanted to take a minute to say thank you and happy EMS Week. It is rare that you receive the thanks or respect that is warranted by the job that you do everyday, but if that is why you all did this there would be no one on the streets. Again THANK YOU for your service and dedication to the people that you serve.

Hello Everyone, just wanted to make sure that we gave everyone a last chance to get registered for our EMS Leadership and Medical Disaster Management Program at UNC. We delve into many of the topics that relate to Medical Disaster Management and how those topics also relate our daily practice. We discuss a number of leadership skills, administrative management skills, preparedness and planning, and actual medical disaster operations with experts who have "been there and done it" with abundant resources and in austere environments with literately no resources. Come join us before all the seats are gone. Registration ends on April 18th, 2014. Thanks. Jim Gusler, University of North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center 919) 966-3659. Look Forward to hearing from you.

Interesting Blog. I would add a number of other public safety personnel also. Just like the military this is probably an unspoken epidemic. As a leader how do you address these issues? Just a thought to ponder.
