Hope everyone had a great Fall Break and you're ready for our next meeting tonight at 6 in Phillips 215!
Also, UNC's University Research Week is coming up, and this year there are a couple of NASA-themed events we'd like to draw your attention to:
• Astronaut and Carolina alum Zena Cardman will be giving a talk on Nov. 6 at 5 pm in Memorial Hall (info and registration here: https://researchweek.unc.edu/events/zena-cardman/ )
• NASA experts will be giving their presentation, "What's Next at NASA?" at on Nov. 7 at 4:30 pm in Genome on their current missions and career opportunities (info and registration here: https://researchweek.unc.edu/events/whats-next-at-nasa/ )
• NASA Day at UNC is Thursday, Nov. 7 in the Carolina Union - it'll be a day full of workshops and panels that are out of this world, including a keynote presentation by the NASA Administrator, Jim Bridenstine (full schedule and registration here: https://research.unc.edu/research-development/nasa-day/ )
