Huge thanks to our Derby Days charity Note in the Pocket for having us at their 5th annual Socks & Undie 5K Run today! This has been an incredibly rewarding organization to work with for the past several years, and we've love to see them grow and make a difference in our community. We're looking forward to what the future holds and the great impact they'll continue to make for children in our area.

We all had a ton of fun at our alumni reunion and storytelling, The Lowdown. Some pretty crazy stories came out; it's amazing to hear how some traditions have persisted for over half a century.

The morning after UNC-Chapel Hill makes it into the Final Four, Note in the Pocket gets a letter from our friends at the Sigma Chi Fraternity at UNC-CH.

The letter thanks us for all that we do for underprivileged children and goes on to say that they have raised OVER $1000 for Note at their recent, and very successful, First Annual Sigma Chi Hot Dog Eating Contest and philanthropy event to help us achieve our mission!

We are so proud to be supported by such wonderful young men with a true desire to make the world a better place, one child at a time. Well done and THANK YOU!

It’s time to put away some dogs! This year Sigma Chi hosted its first-ever hot dog eating contest to benefit Note in the Pocket. Brothers received donations per hot dog eaten, and we donated all proceeds to the organization. We are pleased to congratulate Cole Mueller as the 2017 hot dog eating champion. Cole was able to successfully down 5.5 dogs!

BB&T - Shine A Light Contest At BB&T, giving back is one of our top priorities. We've helped change the lives of more than 13 million people since 2009 through our own volunteering effort, the Lighthouse Project.

The photos from our Derby Days annual cookout, sorority kickball, and sorority flag football this year came in and look great! We all had a phenomenal time raising awareness and money for Note in the Pocket.

Sigma Chi had the privilege of taking the One Act training course today! One Act works to create a safer environment for students on campus and in greek life! With participation in programs like this we can strive for a better community for everyone
