Easter Sunday Worship:
6:30 a.m. - Sunrise in Courtyard
8:30 a.m. & 10:30 a.m. These two identical services will celebrate the joy of Easter through triumphant music led by the Chancel Choir and a chamber ensemble with trumpets, culminating in the "Hallelujah Chorus" from Handel's Messiah.

Join us for a celebratory egg hunt on the church grounds after the 8:30 or 10:30 a.m. service.

We invite you to bring flowers to decorate the cross outside the church on Easter Sunday.

The United Women in Faith (UWF) has a place for you in one of five circles of fellowship! Tuesday Evening Circle recently made blankets for children in UNC Hospital. They and members of other circles also wrapped 10,000 diapers at the NC Diaper Bank for distribution to 333 babies.

We are deeply proud to celebrate Edith Hubbard, a fellow church member, whose life and witness are being honored in this powerful Black History Month story.

Edith’s journey reaches from the Durham sit ins of 1960 to breaking barriers at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she became one of the earliest Black women to graduate. Her courage helped shape our state, our institutions, and generations who followed.

But for us, Edith is not only a trailblazer in history books. She is a beloved member of our church family. Her presence among us is a living reminder that faith, perseverance, and quiet strength can change the world.

We give thanks for Edith’s witness and her ongoing legacy. May we continue to learn from her example and honor the sacred work of justice, dignity, and courage in our own time.
