University United Methodist Church Worship Time: 10:30 a.m. In-person Welcome to University United Methodist Church, where we are all guests in God’s house. throughout the school year.

The church’s mission is to transform lives by loving God, serving others and building Christian community. We pray you will find encouragement and spiritual nourishment here as we praise God together. University United Methodist Church offers worship services at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m on Sunday mornings. The early service offers weekly Sacraments - either Holy Communion or Baptism. The later service i

ncorporates a broader musical repertoire and observes Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each liturgical season. Past worship services are available for viewing on the church's YouTube Channel. Children are always welcome at University UMC and are invited to take part in all aspects of worship, including communion. Childcare is available for infants through kindergarten during both worship services on the ground floor of the Education Wing. Paid childcare workers and parent volunteers care for children in a safe sanctuary environment. Sunday School classes for adults, youth and children are offered at 9:50 a.m. All are welcome.

We are grateful to celebrate the leadership and witness of our own Ti, Andrew, and Pastor Justin, who helped lead the Juneteenth Service at the North Carolina Annual Conference this week in Greenville. As United Methodists from across the eastern portion of our state gathered for worship, prayer, and holy conferencing, this service offered an opportunity to remember the significance of Juneteenth, give thanks for the ongoing work of freedom and justice, and celebrate the gifts of the Black church.

Juneteenth reminds us that freedom is not simply a historical event to remember but a calling to live into God’s vision of beloved community.

Thank you, Ti, Andrew, and Pastor Justin, for your faithful leadership and for representing the University UMC Family so well.

6:30 a.m. - Sunrise in Courtyard
8:30 a.m. & 10:30 a.m. These two identical services will celebrate the joy of Easter through triumphant music led by the Chancel Choir and a chamber ensemble with trumpets, culminating in the "Hallelujah Chorus" from Handel's Messiah.

Join us for a celebratory egg hunt on the church grounds after the 8:30 or 10:30 a.m. service.

We invite you to bring flowers to decorate the cross outside the church on Easter Sunday.
