Our graduate guide--
Austin is a MD candidate at the UNC School of Medicine and is completing a dual MA in English, with a concentration in Literature, Medicine, & Culture. He is from Clayton, North Carolina, and completed his undergraduate degree in mathematics at Wake Forest University. He plans to practice medicine as a psychiatrist and enjoys competitive swimming, reading literary fiction, independent film, and spending time with his husband and cats.
