Co-founded by Bono in 2004, ONE is a nonpartisan grassroots advocacy and campaigning organization working to end extreme poverty and preventable disease, particularly in Africa. ONE raises awareness and pressures political leaders to support smart, life-saving policies. At ON

E at UNC, we compete with campuses around the nation in the ONE Campus Challenge. Each semester, we design and implement campaigns focused on key issues surrounding extreme poverty and preventable disease. By connecting with both students and lawmakers, we engage in ONE's work to improve millions of lives worldwide.
