We're licensed and rated "5-Star" by the State of North Carolina and participate in the USDA sanctioned Child and Adult Care Food Program. We have a mixed age group, emphasizing outdoor learning and learning to accept each others' diversity, while experiencing daily living and learning in the familiar surroundings of

a home. Our environment is our actual home, with an outdoor woodland area with paths and an extensive shaded deck. The indoors is enriched and stimulating, offering a creative, individualized experience. The principal caregiver is:

Alison Robertson, an experienced mother of 3 and UNC graduate. Her husband, Tim, formerly a respiratory therapist, helps out-particularly with gardening, reading, and "projects".
