There’s a lot to be excited about for UNC Club Volleyball! Our Blue and White teams took 1st and 3rd in our last home tournament of the semester, and we were chosen to host a ranking tournament in March! Check out our website for more info!

We’re playing our second tournament of the semester in Raleigh today! Come out and support us in Carmichael gym on State’s campus 💙🐏🏐

We are so proud of both our teams bringing home 1st and 3rd overall in the first home tournament of the year! Huge thanks to all the teams that came to play! We could not have asked for a better start to the season🤪🥇🥉💙

We are incredibly excited to reintroduce last year’s treasurer, Victoria, as our new Co-President!!! She spent the summer interning in NYC where she saw EIGHT (yes, eight) broadway shows. She is SO committed to our club and was present at every tournament and practice while recovering from a torn ACL last season. She is thrilled for her senior season and wants to see all of you at our first open gym tonight at 6:30 in Fetzer! @ Fetzer Gym

You’ve seen her before as our Co-Pres last year and we couldn’t be more thrilled to re-introduce our Co-President, Maredith! Our girl lives, breathes, sleeps volleyball and you can definitely tell when she’s on the court. This summer she won two Open Beach Tournaments and spent her free time kayaking and canoeing in the NC mountains. She’s worked hard this summer to prep for this season so definitely come and see our table at Fall Fest tonight!!!💙

Our second officer in the lineup is our new treasurer, Maddy! She has been with the club for 3 years, and is now a senior. This summer, Maddy stayed in the area to work at UNC hospital, went to the beach, and helped take care of this cute pup! We can’t wait to see her next week, but we’re really just wondering if the dog will be there too 🐶

August means it’s time to introduce our 2019-2020 officers! First up is our beautiful world-traveling social chair, Natalie! She has played on the club team all three of her years at Carolina and this is her second as social chair. Last semester she left us to study abroad in Spain and took these incredible pictures in Madrid, Morocco and Switzerland. We are so happy to have her back in CH and can’t wait for all the fun she has planned for us this year!

We want to send the biggest belated happy birthday and graduation to this amazing person! She spent all 4 of her years at UNC on our club team, and served as co-President her junior year before stepping back and helping us lead this year as the Blue team’s only senior. We will certainly miss all the laughs, hard work, and support she provided, but know that Teach for America chose an incredible person. We miss you, Emma, but good luck in Chicago! 💙🏐🐏 @ Chicago, Illinois

Well, it’s finals season, which means it’s time to say goodbye to the 2018-2019 volleyball season. This year we saw a UNC-UNC semifinal at our home tournament and made many fun memories with our vb family. There was some high level playing (4 blue team tournament wins - a gold bracket finish at nationals for our white team) and some rough L’s (captured in pic 6 😬)
We had lots of support from our guys team, beach team, and each other through it all though, and we are most grateful for that. Thanks for a great season everyone! 💙🐏🏐 @ Fetzer Gym
