EVENT: Tuesday, April 27 at 4:00 on Zoom. Susan Burch of Middlebury College talks about her new book from the University of North Carolina Press "Committed: Remembering Native Kinship in and beyond Institutions." Experiences inside/outside Canton Asylum, a federal psychiatric institution created specifically to contain American Indians.
