UNC Minority Men in Medicine

Hello everyone and welcome back to campus! In room 3515 of the Student Union this Wednesday, August 27 from 5-6 pm, we will be having our first MMM meeting of the fall semester. We invite you to join us for an evening focused on building connections with one another and sharing our timeline for the upcoming months.

Pizza will be provided some come hungry!

Hey, y’all, I hope everyone had a relaxing and rejuvenating spring break. As you’re settling back into your class routine, join us this Wednesday evening for a study hall from 6-8 pm. Feel free to bring whatever work you have, be it STEM-related or not. Additionally, everyone is welcome to bring any other of the guys you know, even if they aren’t pursuing medicine. At its core, this is an opportunity to be productive and studious around other hardworking individuals.

Join us this Thursday for our Black History Month event!

Next Wednesday, February 15th, Minority Men in Medicine and Minority Women in Medicine will be hosting a black history month Jeopardy event in MEJ 3116 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. Pizza, and salads will be provided!

Please use the signup genius link in our bio to register as soon as possible as we will only be able to accommodate about 40 people total.

Thanks to our wonderful Office of Scholastic Enrichment and Equity, we assisted in hosting a pre-med enrichment experience event for future minority men in medicine from Virginia Commonwealth University today. Thanks to all who collaborated and made this experience possible for these young men.
