Our goal for 2026 is to focus on small incremental changes.
As a school and as individuals, we are going to try to do one extra thing each day to make ourselves better.
On the mat and in life, it’s better to strive for small achievable goals instead of focusing on big sweeping changes.
Be consistent.
Be present.
Control the things you can control.
Focus on the little things.
This is our mission idea moving forward into the new year.
What’s yours?

What makes Gracie Jiu Jitsu different?
GJJ is the only martial art that focuses on how to be on the bottom and stay safe from a bigger, stronger, more aggressive attacker.
One week from today, Monday the 5th, our fundamentals curriculum will start the year focused on this exact topic. No experience necessary.
This is the perfect time to begin training. Send us a message to get your year started strong.
Get in shape, feel safer, have fun, and become part of a wonderful community.

This is a great chance to get practice competing or to get your feet wet if it’s your first time. Our focus will be on gaining experience and getting used to a competition environment. Everyone who competes will receive a minimum of three matches. We will also be having competition training in Chapel Hill on the 10th and 17th for anyone interested.

Kids Class Update
Promotion Standards
Each child will receive one stripe per month with consistent training, however the number of stripes per belt will increase.
Each belt will receive four white stripes followed by four red stripes then the student will receive a new belt.
We are making this change to help the kids stay motivated and insure that they are promoted on a consistent basis that is easy to keep track of for kids, parents, and instructors.
