The best news ever to wake up to! Darja attended FINISH 2025 and, yes, flew all the way from Honolulu, Hawaii to Raleigh, North Carolina to participate in my interview prep workshop. She is the absolute epitome of grace and kindness and will represent Hawaii like the beautiful queen she is! Congratulations, Darja! ↗️⭐️

I was so honored to be invited by Jan Mitchell, Matthew Mitchell, and Britan Robertson to lead an interview prep workshop at the Miss Texas and Miss Texas’ Teen Spring Training! I delivered a presentation on “Interview Dos and Don’ts” and wanted to shoutout a few of my FINISH alumnae who helped me pull together some terrific video examples of what to do and what not to do! .mckenna10 you guys crushed it!
Also, huge thanks to Julia DeSerio with for putting her pro touch on my presentation! The Texas ladies are locked in, and they are ready to bring it in the interview room!

In one week, these 20 fabulous Miss America state candidates will arrive in North Carolina to experience a weekend of intensive interview prep that I call FINISH 2026! FINISH stands for First Impression Networking and Interview Showcase, and this is my 4th year hosting this one-of-a-kind retreat. They will experience two days of panel mock interviews with highly qualified guest judges, workshops to fine tune their business plans, drill on-stage question, strategize for “hot topics”, elevate their social media presence, learn from some incredible guest speakers who have walked in their shoes, and celebrate a sisterhood like no other.
