Race Amity Day at the EM Horton Middle School in Pittsboro! Many community organizations participated, including EHST who sponsored a mural project for children led by Claire Bezy Shaw, a local artist and art educator from the Chatham Artists Guild. EHST members who volunteered to table at this event were Maura Breidt, Solomon Gibson, Stan Henshaw and Chris Kaman. The above video was a real highpoint of the afternoon with many other musicians and actors performing. Thanks to Partners in Racial Justice and the event coordinators Bobbie Morel and Marcus Shaw for their hard work and dedication in making this event an afternoon to remember!
