Hey First-Gens!

Buckle in and hold your wigs on tight because we have an amazing (and long awaited) final event of the semester for you all! Our Drag Show last year was a hit, so we’re running it back for part 2!

Come out, have fun, and support FGSA, local queens, and new-coming drag daughters as we put on our Under the Stars Drag Show this weekend! Get ready for a night of death-and-jaw dropping performances, laughter, and even some QueerEOKE with our FGSA community that will slay the house down boots my queens, kings, and monarchs! 👑👢👠💅🏼

Come join us and bring friends! But please be respectful of our queens and community! This is not a place for hate, but love, acceptance, and having fun! If we have to… we will es**rt people out for harmful behaviors and words, so please come with the utmost respect for our performers!

Also, our queens are putting in the hard work as I type, so cash tips are encouraged to show some love for our performers! Any tips you give will go directly to the queen you’re giving them to! 💵🤑

I know we missed National Cat Day last semester due to the weather, but who’s to say we can’t celebrate it now 😸!

FGSA will be selling exclusive President Melly FGSA Merch handmade by the FGSA Executive Board and Melly Bo Belly herself! Come out and learn about the Orange County Animal Services (OCAS) and how they help kittens and other furry friends in the area by caring for them and finding their forever homes! 🐈🐈‍⬛

A portion of all proceeds from FGSA merchandise will go directly to the OCAS to aid in the continuation of their mission.

Also, Prez Melly Bo Belly will be making a special appearance during this event! Come out and meet Melly, learn about kitties and how they are helped/how you can help them in Orange County, and support your FGSA team so we can be able to continue to hold events like these for you guys in the future!

We saw that our FGSA dinner was a huge hit last semester, so we’ve decided to keep them coming your way! 😄 Starting TOMORROW we will be doing bi-weekly/monthly FGSA dinners! If you would like a say in the location of our dinners then join our GroupMe and vote in the chat on where you’d like to eat next!

‼️IMPORTANT INFO REGARDING TOMORROW’S DINNER‼️:

-FGSA will NOT be covering the cost of the dinner. If you show up and eat you must be able to pay for your meal. You may also just show up to hang with us if the food isn’t really your cup of tea but you still want to socialize!
-FGSA Executive Board Members will be meeting at the Flagpole in the Quad at 5:15 p.m. to walk over to Bonchon. You can meet and walk with us there or you may meet us directly at the restaurant. Whatever works best for you!
-If you DO plan on attending this event, pretty please RSVP via Heel Life so we can have an accurate headcount for reservations! This not only makes it easier on us but also prepares the workers to better accommodate for our group!

Hi First-Gen Community! It’s your favorite marketing director here with some exciting news! FGSA is launching its very own big/little buddy program this semester!

Applications are now open and available via the Linktree in the bio of our Instagram page! This is just a precursor to our actual Big/Little events to come, but please take the time to fill out your application so we can match you to a buddy/mentor that best suits your interests and goals! Can’t wait to get the ball rolling on this, and who knows 👀…. maybe you’ll get paired with a friend for life! 🤗 🤍🩵

We will be meeting at the flag post at Polk Place on campus and then we will be walking to our dinner location as a group by 5:15 p.m. EST. Walking with us is optional! You can head straight to Spicy 9 if you would rather do that!
