This is a great example of a plant doing a hard thing. The teachers put a pumpkin in this corner every fall and every late spring it starts growing quietly. Through the drought, intense sun, and lack of any attention, it pushes on. Conditions in my own garden are was less challenging and yet this pumpkin is doing better than mine.

CCP Stars, Stripes, & Summer Sizzle Camp is complete! What great fun everybody had. Musical chairs, Millie the Mermaid, ice cream shops, the best snacks, art projects, and popsicles to end each day. We are blessed by our amazing teachers who went above and beyond for this week (of course they did, it's how they roll!)

Christ Church Preschool in Southern Village is looking for a part-time Bookkeeper/Assistant for 8 hours a week. The current bookkeeper is willing to help train the next person.

This position is full year, involves the understanding of a good spreadsheet and QuickBooks (we use the online version). It requires the love of children and a good laugh at times sitting in the same room with the director 😁. It pays $20hr, is flexible (can be broken up during the week), and comes with a 25% scholarship to CCP. We're also looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.

Happy 30th anniversary Christ Church United Methodist! We had our bash on the Southern Village Green on Saturday and it was so much fun! Tattoos, bubbles, kinetic sand, and more were enjoyed by all. And yes, they let me into the bounce house!
