This year's BBSP t-shirt was designed by Hannah Wiedner, a fourth-year graduate student in the Genetics and Molecular Biology curriculum. Hannah's inspiration: "My goal was to bring attention to black scientists who are historically not acknowledged for their contributions. Therefore my design includes the names of 43 prominent black scientists within a fist of solidarity."
