✨ What a Day at ThinkAdoo Looks Like ✨

At ThinkAdoo, our days are thoughtfully planned with purpose and intention. While children are having fun, they are also learning, exploring, and growing every step of the way.

We are not a traditional daycare where children are simply watched throughout the day. ThinkAdoo is a learning center, where each part of the day includes prepared activities designed to support child development, independence, creativity, and social-emotional growth.

From circle time and story time, to centers, art, music, sensory play, outdoor exploration, and independent learning, every activity has a purpose. Our daily routine helps children build early academic skills, fine and gross motor skills, language development, and confidence — all in a nurturing, play-based environment.

We believe children learn best when they feel safe, supported, and engaged. 💙

El juego dramático es mucho más que disfrazarse: es una parte fundamental del desarrollo en la primera infancia. Cuando los niños imaginan, representan roles y fingen situaciones, están aprendiendo habilidades importantes de una manera divertida y significativa.

A través del juego dramático, los niños:
🎭 Desarrollan el lenguaje y la comunicación

Hoy trabajamos en fortalecer las manitas de nuestros pequeños a través del juego. Al romper los crayones en pedacitos, ayudamos a que los niños utilicen un mejor agarre, facilitando el control de sus movimientos. Usar calcomanías (stickers) es otra excelente manera de estimular la motricidad fina, ya que al despegar, pellizcar y pegar, los niños activan los músculos pequeños de las manos y los dedos.

Estas actividades tan sencillas son muy importantes para desarrollar la fuerza, coordinación y control de las manos, habilidades necesarias para la escritura, el autocuidado y la independencia diaria. ¡Aprender jugando siempre es la mejor forma! 💕🎨🖐️

Today we worked on strengthening our little hands through simple, meaningful play. Breaking crayons into smaller pieces helps encourage a proper grip, making it easier for tiny fingers to control their movements. Using stickers is another fun way to build fine motor skills by engaging the small muscles in the hands and fingers as children peel, pinch, and place them.

These activities may look simple, but they play a big role in developing hand strength, coordination, and control—skills children need for writing, self-help tasks, and everyday independence. Learning through play is always the best way! 💕🎨🖐️

Hi families! 👋 I’m Angela Marquez, a licensed teacher in the state of New Mexico with a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and several years of experience working with children in daycare programs, Head Start, and elementary schools.

At ThinkAdoo, I provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children learn through hands-on play, exploration, and meaningful experiences. I believe every child learns at their own pace and deserves to feel supported, confident, and excited to learn 💛
