✨avoid saying NO 🙅‍♀️to your toddlers, Always provide them with alternatives✨
👶🏻Toddlers are driven to learn about their world. They also begin to want some control, which is why they often say “NO!” To avoid power struggles with your little explorers, choose your battles🧐. You can distract them and child proof your home so you do not always have to tell them “no.”
✨Parental bullying is not parenting, it is simply bullying✨
BE A GOOD ROLE MODEL✨! Walk the walk.🚶🏻‍♀️ Don’t just tell your child what you want them to do. Show them.
When your children are troubled or have any kind of strong emotions😊, some form of active listening is often the best first approach to use. After you hear more clearly what is going on with your children, you can decide what you need to do next.
At what age would you give your children a phone? Under 13 or Over 13🧐: The Federal Trade Commission doesn't issue age guidelines when it comes to children and cell phones📲. Instead, it advises considering your child's personality and maturity (as well as age) before buying one — and of course, using parental control and safety features when you do. You can also look into phones with limited internet access and restricted texting for younger kids. Also on your list of duties as a parent: warning them about dangers such as oversharing on social media, texting and driving, and cyberbullying.
Although bullying is heavily frowned upon, there would be circumstances where your child is a victim 😔. Bullying can take many forms and is not only limited to the physical. Speaking to the parents and principals can improve things but cannot stop it ultimately. As a parent, you need to be supportive of your child and help them to stand up for themselves and never allow anybody to convince them that they deserve to be disrespected. Sending them to martial arts classes is a great way to help them build confidence and level-headedness in tough situations and even resolving one when it gets physical.
You should talk to your child, even before the child can speak👶.

True. Babies enjoy making new sounds such as squeals and laughs🗣. They respond to your voice with more sounds and copy the sounds they hear. They learn how to communicate with you even before they can say words🥰.
When would you put a kindergartener to bed👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 ? Before 8pm or after 8pm 🤔

Experts say: The Centers for Disease Control (CDC), American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM), and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) all agree that 5-year-olds need 10 to 13 hours of sleep per day, including naps. Even grade schoolers should log nine to 12 hours per night. That means if you wake your child up at 7 a.m. for school, you would need to tuck him in at 9 p.m. latest.
Non-compliance is something every parent is bound to experience. However, a persistently stubborn child can grow up to be problematic. The trick is to pick your battle wisely; it’s not worth engaging with them in an argument regarding insignificant things. Don’t just request them to do something, also tell them what you will do when they listen to you. Like, finishing homework sooner means more playtime.

Back to school advice for parents 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦:

Deal with your child’s expectations! Older children will already have set themselves expectations they want to fulfill at school 🏫. Therefore, it is helpful to ask them what they expect about returning to school. It can help to read a story about children who go to school in order to start the conversation and to make it easier for kids to talk about their feelings. It is also important to ask kids if they have any questions or are unsure about anything 🤔.

Let them know that other kids will be nervous as well 😵 and that teachers will help them to feel more comfortable🥰.

Did you know that playing remains the most important activity in kindergarten? 🤔

It is normal for your child to play a lot in kindergarten. Until the age of 6, play is the most important activity to help him develop and learn. When a child is having fun, he feels good and happy, which makes learning easier. Playing therefore allows him to develop a positive attitude towards school. This is why kindergarten teachers leave plenty of room for play in the classroom.

"My three kids started there this year , and can’t say enough good things about this facility. They are so caring, well organized, they also provide lunch there per your request, and my kids love it. When I go pick them up they always ask me if they can stay a little longer even after a full day. I highly recommend Children of the World, if you’re looking for a quality and caring child care for your kids."
