We may not be a pharaoh, but we think our new name deserves some special attention, too!

Starting on June 4, the streaming service known as Wondrium will transform back into The Great Courses Plus.

The service will still have the award-winning professors and courses you know and love, plus new releases and never-before-streamed classics from The Great Courses vault every month.

“What’s in a name?”

At The Great Courses, our name is a promise to bring you the most engaging, enriching, and trusted learning experiences. That’s why, after three years of being known as “Wondrium,” our streaming service is going back to its roots.

Starting on June 4, the official streaming home of The Great Courses will once again be known as “The Great Courses Plus.” We're refocusing on our core academic content—like Professor Conner’s classic course, How to Read and Understand Shakespeare.

We’ll continue to challenge you to explore new ideas about the world and yourself, while providing the kind of deep satisfaction you can only get from learning something new.

We're changing our name, but keeping our promise: to offer you the most engaging, enriching, and trusted learning experiences.

On June 4, the streaming service known as Wondrium will transform back into The Great Courses Plus. With the name change comes a renewed focus on the core subjects you love—history, science, philosophy, and more—and a commitment to bringing you the very best professors and experts.

Never stop learning!

That broadcast was the first of 31 informal “fireside chats” that Roosevelt would deliver through a bevy of microphones from different stations and networks to an audience of millions of Americans brought together by the radio.

Did you know that we don't actually observe a leap year every four years? The Gregorian calendar uses some interesting rules to keep the calendar in sync with Earth's orbit around the sun.

This system is accurate to roughly 2.6 seconds per year—so there may be an extra leap day needed in the year 4000!
