Thank you for being a part of our Heights Academy family.

This school year has been filled with joy, adventure, laughter, love and learning. It's been an honor to be a part of seeing life-long relationships formed and early life skills being taught.

Sun's out, worms out! We are soaking up as much of the warm weather as possible ☀️

This week, we are using our five senses to explore the world around us! Today we learned all about touch. Specifically how the sun feels on our skin, the wind in our hair and how the worms wriggle in our hands 🪱

We had the best time at our first ever Trunk or Treat this past weekend! 🍭

Thank you to everyone who got all dressed up and joined us! We hope you had as much fun as we did! 🎉

Our Toddler class looks forward to their smiley hands every day! It's such a practical way to help them remember to use gentle hands with themselves and others in their daily interactions :)

This night is for you, your family & friends! There will be games, opportunities to win and receive candy, photos, inflatables & so much more! Invite a neighbor to join! We can't wait!

Meet our incredible teachers! They are having almost as much fun as our friends and are especially enjoying time in our movement classroom where the children play with bouncy balls, tunnels, the parachute and more. They love to set up obstacle courses and do dance breaks together! We look forward to many more fun activities with them 😁

The StreamIn3 curriculum helps our Super Friends learn how to:

- Ask to play
- Use gentle hands
- Take turns
- Calm down with deep breaths

We focus on the Super Friends resources every day in the first 3 weeks of school so that they know how to use these tools in their daily lives at school for the rest of the year! It's been a great start to the year! 🎉

We are so excited to announce that Mrs. Lieschen, our Assistant Director of the past couple of years, is stepping into the role of Director!

She has been at the forefront of the day-to-day operations at Heights Academy and loves supporting the staff and families in all areas of development. She has spent the last 9 years working with children between the ages of birth to 14 years old and has experience in general education, special education, administration, and leadership. She has a passion to see children and families grow in a supportive and uplifting community grounded in faith.

She loves spending time with her family, which includes two daughters aged 4 and 7. She spends her free time baking, exercising, serving at church, and being in the outdoors with friends and family! She can't wait to meet your family and be part of your school journey!

We are excited for our Open House and Book Fair tomorrow night, Thursday March 14th between 5:30-7:30pm! There will be books for sale (just in time for Easter baskets!), tours of our school, fun reading themed games, snacks, giveaways and drawings. Bring some neighbors and friends and come on by!

We love welcoming our students into our bright and cheerful classrooms! So excited to see our friends soon for another amazing school year!
