CHS Drama Presents Magic in the Attic!
The Charger Guard and Indoor Drumline have partnered with Nothing Bundt Cakes in Fair Lakes to offer “Bundtlets” for sale! Each small bundt cake can be ordered for $5.50 and will help our teams raise funds to support their competitive seasons. With so many flavors (including Gluten Free!) available you are certain to find something delicious for everyone! Place your order through your favorite Charger Guard/Indoor Drumline student or submit your via the link below! Orders must be submitted by Tuesday, Feb. 1 and should be ready on Thursday, Feb. 10, just in time for Valentine’s Day! What a SWEET way to support these hard working students!

Official account of Chantilly High School, part of Fairfax County Public Schools in Virginia. Subschools 1–4 are divided by student surnames.

Chantilly High School is home to four years of study, 9th–12th grade. It is organized into five different "subschools" which each provide administration for a different group of students. Subschool 5 consists of the Chantilly Center, a special-education co-facility which serves students from a wider geographical area than the rest of Chantilly High School. The school uses a block scheduling system

We have a FOUR day week this week and a special alternate schedule on Thursday that ends with a Pep Rally. Then come out to cheer on the football team at their first home game of the season at 7pm against Woodson. Have a great week, Chargers!

Eat at the Greenbrier Panda Express on Monday, August 28th and support the Chantilly Band, Choir, and Orchestra. 20% of all sales go to the CHS Music Boosters.

Chantilly HS Back to School Night- Tuesday August 29 6:30-8:35

Back to School Night is an annual event for parents to meet their student’s teachers and learn more about classroom expectations and procedures. We encourage you to arrive early so that you can purchase a school yearbook, join the CHS PTSA, Athletic and Performing Arts Boosters, buy some Chantilly SWAG, visit with reps from the Fairfax County Sully Community Center, or visit the Family Life Education open house in the library from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Parents can access their child’s schedule through ParentVue. Video introductions will begin in first period promptly at 6:30 p.m. and the evening will conclude at 8:35 p.m.

NOTE: Due to limited parking, shuttle buses will run from Rocky Run and Franklin Middle Schools (two from each school) from 5:15 p.m-7 p.m. and return trips from 8:00-9:00 PM. It is impossible to find parking on campus after 6:10 p.m.

Girls Soccer Interest Meeting! Wednesday Aug 30, 3:00-3:30 in the upstairs girls girls team room. All returning players as well as anyone interested in trying out in February should plan to attend this meeting. We will discuss out of season green days and our Haunted House fundraiser. See Coach Bibbee with questions.


Check out our bell schedule for the first week of school! We start with an “A” Day with LS2 and LS4. Pay careful attention to which LS periods are meeting on which days as they do not going in order. We can’t wait to see everyone on Monday morning!

Check out everything that’s going on at Chargin In tonight from 4-7pm. As a reminder, there is extremely limited parking due to construction in the front lot. Everyone is encouraged to walk, bike, or take a shuttle from Franklin and Rocky Run. See you all this afternoon.

Welcome Back to our incredible Chantilly Staff!! Our teachers are learning and collaborating to get the new school year off to a smooth start. We can’t wait to see all of our Chargers in one week!

All parents of the Chantilly Class of 2024 are invited to attend a Senior Parent Meeting on Monday August 14th in the auditorium. Please attend your designated session based on your student’s last name.


Looking forward to seeing all of our Chargers at “Chargin In” Open House next Wednesday, August 16th from 4-7pm. This is a great chance to walk the building, check out the activities fair, join booster clubs, buy new Chantilly swag, and eat at one of the food trucks! See you next week!


Join the Chantilly Pyramid school staff on Wednesday, August 9th for our annual Chantilly Community Visits. We will pass out school supplies, Chantilly swag, and snacks for everyone in attendance. Just look for the big yellow magic bus! We look forward to meeting our Chantilly families at Rockland Village, Chantilly Mews, Brookfield, and Shenandoah Crossing.


Laptop distribution for the 2023-2024 school year will start on August 8th. Please come to the Lecture Hall during one of the following dates and times. Laptops will also be distributed during Charge Ahead and New Student Orientation event.


Get your first glimpse of our 2023 Football Chargers on Saturday, August 5th at the Purple White scrimmage. Admission is FREE! The concession stand will be open and spirit wear will be available for sale.

Welcome to Ms. Cynthia Hawkins! She will serve as the new Assistant Principal for Sub School 3 (Matj-Raja) and supervise the Science and Fine Arts Departments. Ms. Hawkins officially begins at Chantilly on August 1st. Welcome to Chantilly!
