The final Dolphin masterpieces were made today, complete with the beautiful ocean just like Wyland’s painting! (Art)
This Process painting connected language, literacy-reading books about dolphins, recalling the facts about the dolphin’s life under the sea, science, social studies- earth and sea, environment and math. Above all, it was the appreciation of art and artists and the Joy of learning!

Preschool kangaroos are so proud of their Jack O Lantern. They watched the pumpkin carving, scooped the inside of the pumpkin, explored the pulp and seeds with their five senses. They got an opportunity to explore sensory learning. Happy Halloween! 🎃

Superheroes enjoyed carving the pumpkin, pulling out the seeds, counting and using the pumpkin pieces as a puzzle to assemble Jack O Lantern-Interdisciplinary learning/ cross curricular connections- Math, Language, Science, fine motor skills and sensory play.

The red and orange maple fall leaves turned into beautiful collages- made by the preschool kangaroos.

When the song “Leaves are falling down, some are red and some are orange, leaves are falling down…”literally turned into a real joyful experience for the preschool kangaroos when they sang, played and explored with real maple tree and fig tree leaves in the classroom in the Reggio inspired way.

Preschool Kangaroos loved watching the play dough making process and creating with the Orange play dough representing Fall leaves and pumpkins! 🍁 🎃

The Pre-K/K Superheroes were super creative in making their cape and masks today to embark on a superheroes adventure.

Preschool Kangaroos are developing their fine motor skills and prewriting skills by stringing beads, learning to button a shirt,building with cubes and using tweezers.

PreK/K Superheroes had great fun playing Connect Four outdoors on a beautiful sunny fall day today! They were discussing and thinking about the strategy to get four counters in a vertical, horizontal or in a diagonal row! They were learning joyfully in play!

“What happens when chalk becomes wet?” The PreK/ K Superheroes got the answer to their question when they played outdoors.” I see, I think, I wonder!”

Pre-K/ K Superheroes had so much fun helping make the Hopscotch pattern on the blacktop and jumping on the spaces. They also thought of combining circles and squares for the pattern. They were learning numbers, patterns and geometry in play! Outdoor time was so joyful for the Superheroes!

Preschool Kangaroos loved mixing the primary colors. They were overjoyed and full of wonder to see new colors emerge.The inspiration was the book we read at story time “Mouse Paint” by Ellen Stoll Walsh

Preschool Kangaroos explored the dried up sunflower’s seeds by touch and looked at the seeds through a magnifying glass. “I see, I think, I wonder”

Prek and Kindergarten did water beads experimented.
They added water to the beads and observed them growing- observation, recording in the journals.

Pre-K/ Kindergarten Superheroes made play dough from scratch today. They measured the dry and wet ingredients, stirred, mixed, kneaded and rolled to make their creations. They enjoyed the whole process and made cross curricular connections. ( Math, Science, Social, Language and Sensory learning) They are super proud superheroes!
