Today we celebrated the ribbon cutting and reopening of the Channelview ISD Outdoor Learning Center, where students will explore native plant species, gardening and horticulture, ecosystems, biodiversity, conservation, and sustainability. This project was made possible through a grant from the Jacob and Terese Hershey Foundation, in partnership with the Channelview ISD Education Foundation and our dedicated community and environmental partners. We’re excited for students to learn beyond the classroom and grow as thoughtful stewards of the environment.
