💛🐝 A day to learn, connect, and be inspired!

Our staff joined fellow Catholic school educators at the CSCOE Summit for a day of professional development centered on the work we love: helping students learn and grow in faith.

Time spent sharing ideas and learning together brings fresh energy to our classrooms and strengthens the mission we share.

Thank you, CSCOE, for putting on a wonderful Summit and giving our staff the opportunity to learn, grow, and return with inspiration to share with our students! 🙏📚

🎓 Looking ahead to their next chapter!

Our eighth graders welcomed representatives from local Catholic high schools to learn about the opportunities waiting for them beyond St. Hubert. An extra highlight? Seeing familiar faces as SHS alumni returned to visit! 💛🐝

Thank you to the schools that joined us:
Holy Family Catholic High School, Benilde-St. Margaret's, Academy of Holy Angels, Providence Academy, Saint Thomas Academy, Visitation School, and Chesterton Academy

We’re excited to see where our Hornets will continue learning, growing in faith, and sharing their gifts!

🙏🍂 A beautiful fall day, a peaceful garden, and time to pray together!

Our third graders celebrated Our Lady of the Rosary last week by heading to the Mary Garden to pray the rosary with their classmates. What a special way to honor Mary and grow in faith together! 💛🐝

⛳📚 Putting their reading skills to the test!

This week’s comprehension challenge paired *Scaredy Squirrel* with a little golf! Students answered questions about the story and supported their answers with text evidence. Each correct answer earned a chance to sink a putt!

The winning team needed more than a good golf game—they had to work together, show good sportsmanship, and use their time wisely. A fun way to practice careful reading and teamwork! 💛🐝

Big buddies, little buddies, and friendships in the making! 💛🐝

Our eighth graders and PreK students spent time together for one of our most cherished St. Hubert traditions: buddy time! These connections give our older Hornets a chance to lead with kindness and our youngest learners a special friend to look up to.

Different grades, one school family! 🥰

🤍 Last week, we celebrated Sierra Luna Day—the house of Empathy and Resilience!

Students and staff showed their Sierra Luna pride by wearing white, and their three sister classrooms—Mrs. Hesse’s, Mr. Ehalt’s, and the Beehive—joined in the fun!

It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the kindness, perseverance, and connections that make our house community so special. Nine houses, one St. Hubert family! 💛🐝

Thank you to everyone who joined us, sponsored the event, or supported the Golf Classic in any way. A special thank you to our PTO for organizing another memorable event and helping our school community make a meaningful difference for our teachers! 💛

🙏 On Monday, Fr. Bennett and Fr. Derek visited each of our classrooms to bless our classrooms, students, teachers, and staff.

Their prayers and presence were a beautiful reminder that faith is woven into every part of our day at St. Hubert. As we learn, grow, and build community together, we ask God to guide our words and actions throughout the school year.

What a meaningful way to live out our Catholic faith and surround our school community with prayer! 💛🐝
