Will’s been dominating this summer with the goal of increasing his strength and speed leading into his senior season of basketball and track at Minnetonka.

I’ll let his numbers do the talkin’.

10 Yard Dash: 1.76sec➡️1.60sec

Flying 10 with a 5 Yard Build: 1.40sec➡️1.30sec

His strength is up over 5%, jump height up 13% and RSI is up 30%. All of this is in 3 months of training. 🤯

Custom programs are cool, but being consistent, intentional with each rep and staying positive are much cooler, and that’s Will.

Keep dominating brother, you’re closer to your goals than you think💰🔥🏆

During evaluations, our goal is to prescribe a training frequency that’s appropriate for each athlete.

Here’s the thought process and questions asked.

🏈What are your goals?

⚽️What does your current schedule look like?

⚾️Based upon that, how much time are you willing to allocate to training to reach your goals?

🏀When are your off days or lower intensity days? You need to recover to adapt.

🏃‍♂️Do you have any past experience with speed and/or strength training?

🏒Have you experienced any injuries? If so, what happened and does it still affect you?

Based upon those answers and the evaluation itself, we’ll prescribe an appropriate frequency and develop a long term plan for the athlete.

Starting the fall off strong with 3 football combines‼️

Over 100 athletes and a few dads took part, competed and challenged themselves in a 20 yard dash, pro agility, broad jump and max push ups.💪

We wish everyone a great season and thank you to CCFA Football for having us out for another fun year‼️🏈

Reed and Megan have been the dynamic duo of the summer. Same schedule, same sports, and same training sessions.

These two push each other whether it’s Megan cheering Reed on during sprints or Reed telling Megan to go up in weight on dumbbell bench press, the accountability is there.

We’re proud of you both. Keep bringing smiles and consistent effort to each session‼️

Dips — an underrated upper body movement. The nice part is they can be scaled easily and can be performed with your bodyweight at home using the coffee table or parallel bars.

Dips target the chest, shoulders, and triceps—helping build upper-body strength, muscle, and injury resiliency while moving through a large range of motion.

Simple. Effective. Challenging. Don’t sleep on dips.

This summer Reid has done everything in his power to set himself up for success come fall. In a short time, his total body strength has climbed 11%. On top of that, his top end speed has increased by 9%. That’s a testament of him pushing himself, progressing and wanting to learn week after week.

Let’s go Reid, hard work pays off👊🏆

What’s the best way to prevent injuries?

Actually training.

Not gimmicks.
No shortcuts.
Not chasing social media trends.

Real injury prevention comes from consistently building strong, resilient athletes through strength training, movement quality, mobility, coordination and proper recovery.

Why?

Strength is the ultimate equalizer.

Strong athletes are better able to absorb force, control movement, stabilize joints, and handle the physical demands of sport. The stronger and more prepared the body is, the more durable it becomes under pressure and fatigue.

You can’t completely eliminate injuries, but you sure can prepare the body far more through smart training.

Train consistently. Move well. Build strength. Stay durable.
