Drones For Kids — Final Week in Chandler! 🚀🚀🚀

Today we wrapped up the final week of our Drones For Kids program in Chandler, and what an amazing way to finish! 🎓🚁

Students brought in their final video projects and presented their work to the class. Everyone did such an incredible job, and it was awesome to see how much they learned and created throughout the program!

After the presentations, we had some free-flying fun with our toy drones before stepping it up to the professional equipment and getting some hands-on FPV experience!

A special shoutout to Cole, who took the initiative to help direct the classroom and share his FPV experience and leadership with the students. Seeing our students step up and help others is exactly what this program is all about!

I’m incredibly proud of every student, parent, and teacher who gave their full commitment, participation, and support throughout the program. You all played a huge part in making this program a success!

Congratulations, Chandler! You all crushed it! 🚀

Last Friday, our Drones For Kids students took another big step in their journey! 🎥🚁

Students were introduced to the basics of video editing and video production techniques, then chose their own projects to work on throughout the week. We’re excited to see what they create!

We also had Grant take some time to present his own LLC and share his experience as a young entrepreneur with the students. It’s amazing to see our students not only learn about drones, but also discover how these skills can turn into real-world opportunities! 💯

To finish the day, everyone enjoyed some free-flying time with the DJI Avata 2, DJI Neo, and DJI Neo 2. 🚁🔥

Another great week in the books! Keep learning, keep creating, and keep pushing forward!

Last Saturday was Week 2 of the Drones For Kids program at our Chandler location!🚀🚀🚀

Students and parents jumped right in and got hands-on experience with their new drones, including their first FPV flying experiences with the DJI Neo and Avata 2. Everyone did an amazing job staying focused, participating, and putting their new skills into practice!

A special shoutout to Cole, who is currently in training, for stepping up and helping our students learn the fundamentals of safe and responsible drone operation. Great job, Cole! 👏

We’re proud of everyone’s progress and can’t wait to see what Week 3 brings! 🚀

Last Friday, Drones For Kids held Week 2 of our program out in Casa Grande! 🚀🚀🚀

Our students received their second drone—the awesome 2-in-1 drone that transforms into a race car!

Everyone took on the obstacle course, practicing their yaw and roll movements and putting their flight skills to the test. Then we took things to the next level with their first-ever hands-on FPV flying experience!

Great job to all of our young pilots! We’re incredibly proud of the progress everyone is making.

Last Saturday, Drones For Kids held our annual class in Chandler! 🚀🚀🚀

Students learned about drone safety, responsible operation, and proper flight techniques. Everyone also got hands-on experience building their very own drones, learning to fly them, and taking them home!

Great job to all of our students! 👏 We’re ready for Week 2, where they’ll take their skills to the next level and experience FPV flying for the first time!

Drones For Kids — Casa Grande! 🚀🚀🚀

Today, the Drones For Kids program launched its first-ever 6-week program in Casa Grande! With a full class of young drone pilots, we jumped right into the fundamentals of becoming responsible and knowledgeable drone operators.

Students learned about drone safety, FAA regulations, different types of drones, and proper flight techniques. They also built their very own drones, learned how to fly them, and got to take their equipment home! 🚀🚀

Every student did an amazing job today—asking great questions, staying focused, and showing a ton of enthusiasm. I’m incredibly proud of this young group and excited to see what the next six weeks bring!

A huge thank you to Grant for assisting us today and helping make the first class a success!

This milestone would not have been possible without each and every one of you who believed in and supported this organization from the very beginning. Your encouragement, trust, and dedication have helped turn a dream into something truly meaningful.

This journey has been an incredible experience, and I’m grateful for every opportunity along the way. Thank you for your continued support and for being part of the Drones For Kids family. Here’s to inspiring the next generation through STEM education!

Last week, Drones For Kids had the opportunity to travel to Sierra Vista and introduce a great group of young aviators to the world of drones! 🚀🚀🚀

Students and parents learned about proper drone operations, safety, and FAA regulations while building their very own drones. Once they were built, everyone got hands-on experience flying them—and best of all, they took them home afterward!

We then stepped things up with FPV training using the DJI Avata 2 and DJI Neo, giving everyone a chance to experience professional drone technology. Everyone did an amazing job, and we couldn’t be more proud of their enthusiasm and progress.

Thank you, Sierra Vista, for welcoming us and allowing us to share our passion for drones and STEM education. We can’t wait to see you again!
